IntegraRack IR EarthBallast™ Mounting Kit For All BallastRack™ Systems (Up to 12 solar panels)
The IR EarthBallast Kit includes a pre-cut roll of strong geotextile made for retaining walls and a high-strength tested 15 minute epoxy to hold the geotextile to the frames. This creates a large surface area to hold the dirt mound, the specific amount and required weight will be dependent on the frame that you are burying (See IntegraRack Datasheets & Engineering for more information). A shovel or skid-steer can be used to earth fill the frames.
Notice
- Kit is designed to mount up to 12 solar panels (Dependent on the width of solar panels)
- 12×3/8″ concrete forming steel stakes are required by the manufacturer for added strength and fast, easy leveling of the system (can be sourced at local hardware stores)
- This kit is not intended to be used with other IntegraRack mounting kits
No Building Permit Required
When installing the BallastRack system with the EarthBallast mounting kit, a building permit is typically not required (see documentation)
