IntegraRack IR AnchorSpike™ Mounting Kit For All BallastRack™ Systems (10 AnchorSpikes for up to five BallastRack frames or four solar panels)
The IR AnchorSpike™ Kit includes (10) 30″ hollow barbed aluminum spikes and a two-part epoxy to anchor the spikes into the ground with unbelievable amounts of strength. Each IR AnchorSpike is rated for up to 1,000 pounds of uplift (see IntegraRack’s Stamped Engineering & Datasheets) and the base tube of each BallastRack frame is designed to clamp around and bite into each IR AnchorSpike, allowing for easy leveling of the system.
Notice
- One AnchorSpike must be tested at installation site to ensure it can withstand 1,000 lbs of uplift
- Kit is designed to mount five BallastRack frames or one row of four solar panels
- Epoxy takes up to 8-10 hours to harden and 24 hours to fully cure (@ 70°F). Installation can be completed once epoxy has hardened
- Not intended for use with other IntegraRack mounting kits
Building Permit Requirements
When installing the BallastRack system with the AnchorSpike mounting kit, a building permit may or may not be required (see documentation)
