Description
IntegraRack IR-15 BallastRack™ Solar Module Racking System (Single Frame)
The IR-15 is the fastest and easiest ground mounting system available, and allows for modules of any size to be racked at a fixed 15° for optimal year-round energy production in regions near the equator. This system can be mounted almost anywhere with multiple mounting options, and is strong enough to withstand incredible wind and snow loads (See Datasheets & Engineering for more detailed ratings on this product). The IR-15 is also the lowest cost per Watt option on the market, with only one IR-15 frame needed per solar module after starting the row, and no pouring of concrete footings required. The minimal and modular design allows for good airflow behind the solar panels to optimize efficiency and avoid energy heat loss common with plastic bin type products.
*The IR-15 is not interchangeable with other BallastRack products unless used in different rows

How many frames do you need?
(NUMBER OF PANELS) + (ROWS OF PANELS) = (FRAMES NEEDED)
EXAMPLE: (30 PANELS) + (3 ROWS OF TEN) = 33 Frames
– Fast Assembly & Install
- 2 minute assembly per frame
- Installation as fast as 10 minutes per module
- No earth augers, no concrete, and no post ponding required
- Only one main frame component is required between each solar module to complete entire ground mount system, plus one to start each row
– Universal Mounting
Multiple Mounting Options (Click links to view more information):
- IR EarthBallast™ Kit – Uses fast setting epoxy to adhere geotextile material to IR-15 frames and earth fill over for a fast ballasted system
- IR AnchorSpike™ Kit – Mount IR-15 frames by clamping the base tubes around specially designed anchor spikes that provide easy off the ground leveling
- Concrete Lag Bolt Kit – Bolt the IR-15 frames directly to any concrete surface (concrete pad, footings, or patios)
- Base Ballasting – Hold IR-15 frames in place using flat water tanks, concrete curb stops, or sand bags
– Most Cost Effective Ground Mounted Solar System
- One of the lowest cost per Watt ground mount racking systems on the market
- Traditional ground mount solar racking systems take 6x longer to install and are much more labor intensive
- Capable of racking modules of up to 800 Watts
– High-Strength Engineered & Tested
- Extensively engineered and outdoor lab tested with simulated real world wind and snow load conditions
- Build entirely from aircraft grade 6061 T6 aluminum with stainless steel mounting brackets
- Capable of withstanding incredible wind and snow loads (See Manufacturer’s Datasheets & Engineering)
- Strong, simple “U” shaped design provides amazing strength
– Unprecedented Versatility
- Fixed 15° angle for optimal year-round energy production in locations near the equator such as Florida, South Texas, and most tropical regions
- Up to 2 feet of ground clearance on flat ground
- Adjustable solar module height
- Portrait solar module mounting for easy wiring
- The base tubes of each IR-15 Frame are designed to clamp around and bite into IR AnchorSpikes or concrete stakes for easy leveling and increased hold down strength
– Maximum Efficiency
- With no horizontal rails needed for mounting, there is nothing to block light from reaching the back of the panels giving extra production for bifacial solar panels
- Other racking products can block airflow to the back of the panels and reduce output due to heat loss

Additional Components Required For Some Mounting Configurations
1 Inch EMT/Conduit Pipe (required for certain mounting options)
- 1 inch EMT adds racking strength and helps with positioning for module spacing.
- 10 foot long Conduit Pipes can be sourced locally (Home Depot, Lowes, Electrical Hardware Store, Etc.).
